Driving Directions:

From the East: Take I-95 South to exit 38. Take the Milford Parkway for 1.6 miles. Take Route 15 South via the exit on the left to the Merritt Parkway, follow for 1.3 miles. Take exit 53 which is the Route 110 North. Route 110 will become River Road. Sunnyside Boat Ramp is located at 418 River Road which will be on your right.

From the West: Take I-95 North to exit 27A, which is Route 8 N, follow for 5.5 miles. Take Route 15 N/Merritt Parkway by way of exit 9. Take Route 15 for 2.5 miles. Take exit 53 which is Route 110 exit. Make a left onto Route 110/ Main Street, follow for 2.8 miles. Route 110 will become River Road. Sunnyside Boat Ramp is located at 418 River Road which will be on your right.

Parts of the site offering views of the water are wheelchair accessible. Some facilities/uses listed may not be fully accessible to the mobility-impaired.

Site Description:

Sunnyside Boat Ramp is a modest boat launch area located behind an elementary school. It provides access to the Housatonic River north of Route 15 and I-95.

Additional Info:

A boat ramp and picnic areas along a quiet flatwater stretch of the river. Parking is limited at the foot of the hill so it may be necessary to park up by the ball fields after putting in your boat

Access from parking area down paved ramp west side of the river. Turn on road south of Sunnyside School. Pass ball fields on left. Drive down steep hill to launch area and Ayers Marina. Picnic area.
