“The Dock” is a busy shopping center with marinas and fishing piers. There is a large parking lot with parking spaces by the river. The best river access is on the south side (downstream) of the Route 1 bridge. There is a trail from “The Dock” parking area under the bridge. Parking is also available along the river by Savins Roasting Company on the south side of Barnum Avenue (Route 1). The launch is on a sandy bank by the wooden boardwalk.
