Opens one half hour before sunrise and closes one half hour after sunset (except access to boat launch).

Addis Park is on the east side of the river and has a large parking lot, picnic area and boat launch. It may be necessary to get a pass to use this facility. Call the New Milford Town Hall… Downstream is the Lovers Leap Gorge and Lake Lillinonah (the dammed portion of the Housatonic River upstream of the Shepaug Dam). If the current permits, this is a nice round trip or continue on to the take out at the Route 133 Bridge in Brookfield CT (exit left).

All vehicles must display a valid Park Sticker or Day Pass.
