From the East: Take I-95 South to Exit 69, and travel onto Route 9 North. Proceed on Route 9 North for 6.4 miles. Then take Exit 5, which is the Deep River/Killingworth Exit. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto Route 80/West Elm Street. Proceed on West Elm Street, and continue on the same road when it becomes River Street. Once on River Street (which begins at the Route 154 intersection), continue approximately 0.8 miles and the Dock will be straight ahead at the road's terminus.

Parts of the site offering views of the water are wheelchair accessible. Some facilities/uses listed may not be fully accessible to the mobility-impaired.

Site Description:

Deep River Town Dock (AKA Deep River Landing) is a large municipal access pier suitable for fishing and offers excellent views of the River. Children will especially enjoy watching the Essex Stream Train pass by (seasonally). Historical marker describes the site's historic and cultural significance. Nice views of Selden Neck State Park across the River. Keep in mind that parking is limited. There is a $10 fee per vehicle for nonresidents.
