Take I-95 South. Take exit 54 which is the Cedar Street exit to Branford
0.1 miles. Turn left onto Cedar Street, continue on Cedar Street for 0.7
miles. Turn right onto Main Street 0.1 miles. Turn left onto Kirkham
Street 0.2 miles. Kirkham Street becomes Maple Street 0.2 miles. Turn
left onto Harbor Street 0.4 miles. Turn left onto Goodsell Point RD 0.1
miles.
From the West:
Take I-95 North. Take exit 53 to US-1/Short Beach 0.3 miles. Take a
slight right onto Branford Connector/Route 794 North 0.6 miles. Turn
slight right onto West Main Street/US-1 0.1 miles. Turn left onto Short
Beach Road 0.2 miles. Turn left onto Maple Street 0.1 miles. Turn right
onto Linsley Street 0.2 miles. Turn slight left onto Stannard Avenue 0.4
miles. Stannard Avenue becomes Goodsell Point Road. Directions Map: Google Map Regulations: 6 MPH in the established channel from the reef
extension of Linden Point northward. Branford Harbor, slow-no-wake in
all waters north of the line from Indian Neck Point to Lovers Island.

boat or fish at the Branford River State Boat Launch, which affords
beautiful views of tidal wetlands along the Branford River. Arrive early
because this is a popular location for launching boats. Branford Harbor,
the Thimble Islands, and Long Island Sound are conveniently accessible
from this boat launch. To help you reach Branford River State Boat
Launch, some routes leading to this site are posted with boat launch
