On The Water: This river is a nice tidal stream.  It flows into salt marshes – which is mostly owned and preserved by the state or Audubon Society.

Access is upstream from the upper end of Nut Plains Road, east of Connecticut Route 77 and north of I-95. Near the ocean there is access at the US Bridge 1 – Guilford Town Dock.
