With over 200 miles of Long Island Sound shorefront, Coastal Connecticut offers some of the best paddling opportunities around. Major attractions to this coastline include magnificent mansions and waterfront estates, historic seaports, tidal lagoons and marshes, a multitude of unique sea creatures, and historic lighthouses welcoming all those who wish to explore these waters.

Connecticut has 332 miles of jagged coastline, including bays, harbors and coves. If all salt-water influenced watercourses are included, Connecticut has 1,065 miles of coastal shoreline.
