Directions:

Follow Route 133 east out of Brookfield, cross the lake and turn right into the parking lot

On The Water:

Heading south you can go to the South put in or further to the dam or up the Shepaug River. To the north the lake narrows and goes by aptly named Poison Ivy Island. About 5 miles to the North you encounter the gorge, where the lake narrows to about 30 yards with steep cliffs on either side

Cautions: There is a dam at either end of this lake.
