Longitude  73°19'29.77"W  Latitude  41°27'33.89"N

Take Out: Same As The Put-In

On The Water:

The put-in is on a very protected arm off the main lake. It's a great place to take a novice paddler. On the main lake turn right, cross the lake, then turn left to paddle up the Shepaug River. You can paddle upstream to where the rapids start on the river. Or head south on the main lake to a protected cove just north of the dam. All the land on the right of this paddle is part of Paugussett State Park. There is a portage around the power company dam at the south end of the lake, but the carry is close to a half mile. To the north you can paddle to the State Boat Launch at the Route 133 bridge and beyond-all the way to New Milford.

Cautions: There is a dam at either end of this lake.
