Take Out: Same As The Put-In

On The Water:

Paddle upriver 2 miles to the Town of Westport. At high tide paddle a mile further to the first dam. It may be possible to portage around this dam on the West side and paddle the pond above it. Paddle down river past the country club on the left. Note large areas of shallow water to the right. There is a lot to explore in this area, both up and down the shoreline and out and around the Norwalk Islands
