On The Water:

Put in at Addis Park and travel down river for a mile. After you pass the Still River entering on your right you'll be able to see the East Berlin Bridges. These bridges are the gateway into the Housatonic Gorge ( Longitude  73.24241 W  Latitude  41.32394 ).The gorge is about 200 feet long and can have some very strong currents. Once you're in the gorge - you'll have to paddle it to the end - there are no take outs only 100+ foot high walls.

Lovers Leap is at the end of the gorge on the right side. From here it's about 6 miles to the Route 133 Bridge and the take out. This section of the river is very calm like a lake. The take out is on the left side after you pass under the bridge about 200 feet downstream from the Lovers Leap Bridge.
