Connecticut Water Trails Program Paddling Trails Litchfield County Kent Housatonic River Put In
From Route 7 go to the (only) traffic light at the monument. Turn west towards the river. The put-in is from an elementary school parking lot on the east bank of the river. Look for the school on the left as you drive towards the river. If you cross the bridge you've gone too far. Just over the bridge on the right is a put-in used by the Kent School rowing team. This is a private facility, but you have obtained permission from the school to use it. Type of Water: Paddle Length:
