On The Water:

Kayaking south from the boat launch you will have a great view of the seaport and the tall wooden ships, whaling vessels, and fishing schooners.

You can paddle right up to the hull of the Charles W. Morgan, the last wooden American sailing whale ship.

As you make your way down the Mystic River you'll paddle under the Main Street Bridge and the railroad overpass as you continue heading south to Mason's Island. To paddle around Mason Island will add another four miles to your paddle.

There are a lot of islands and coves in Mystic Harbor which you can explore.

What You'll See: Mystic Harbor, Mason's Island, Ram Island, Sixpenny Island, Willow Point, Latimer Point, and Murphy Point.

Cautions: Lots of boat traffic.
