Take Out: Return to either put-in

On The Water:

From the Isham Street Put-In as you head north stay close to the right bank as you make your way up into the Seaport itself. After you leave the seaport is a 1/2 mile to the I-95 bridge, you'll pass the Mystic River State Boat Launch on your left.

A mile further up the river becomes a salt marsh where it breaks into two channels. The channel to your right is only 200 feet long while the left channel heads in a little further to the remains of an old mill.

If you put in at the Mystic River State Boat Launch it's a two mile trip down through Mystic Seaport and into the Mystic River Harbor and Long Island Sound.

A 1/2 mile past the Isham Street put-in you'll pass under the Route 1A Drawbridge

Longitude 71.58098 °W  Latitude 41.21163 °N

A 1/2 mile past the drawbridge you'll see the Amtrak Railroad Bridge

Longitude 71.58157 °W  Latitude 41.20559 °N

Cautions: Lots of boat traffic.
