Put in Location: Turn right onto Bull's Bridge Road off Route 7. Pass over the river through the old covered bridge.

Park in the parking lot and walk down to the river.

Takeout Location: Take out at the power-plant (2.6 miles down stream from put-in) just below George's hole.

Take Out Coordinates Parking: There is easy parking at both locations. 

Description:

Sections Of The White Water Run:

Staircase a.k.a. Stairway to Hell -  Class V - Staircase is a steep boulder choked class-V rapid. Scout the rapid while walking up the river right trail. Put in at the large pool below the damn and get ready to go. Most people put in below this rapid for the normal run.

The Flume - Class IV - Run right to left with the main flow over the horizon line. This rapid is easily scout-able from the parking lot, just follow the trail downstream on river right. 

S-Turn -  Class IV

Pencil Sharpener - Class IV

George's -  Class III

Scouting: All major drops

Portages: None

Cautions: Difficult drops, strainers, keeper hydraulics
