Launch Info:
Access is downstream of bridge on west side. Large dirt parking area with
porta-potties and picnic tables. Beware of sudden rise in water level from
powerhouse if horn sounds. Easy access to the river. Stay left and stay
clear of the slalom course.
Rapids immediately downstream followed by 4-5 miles flat water. Possible
take out just above “push ‘em up” rapids up short path to River Road on
west side of river.
Otherwise, continue on to the take out just
upstream of the Covered Bridge at West Cornwall, CT (10 miles).
