Site Location:
Basic Information: The Ten Mile River is formed at the confluence of the Webbatuck Creek that forms in Connecticut and the Wassaic Creek that forms in New York. It runs mostly through New York for about 13.5 miles and then crosses over the Connecticut border to flow into the Housatonic River for the last half mile. This is a popular whitewater paddling destination with mostly quick water and a few whitewater areas reaching up to Class III.
