As you head north from the put-in passing Deer Island and Point Folly on your way to the Bantam River which enters from the north. You can paddle up the Bantam River to Little Pond. Cautions:Site History: The Lake was a favorite camping ground of the Pootatuck Indians. The number of arrowheads found at the north end suggest frequent skirmishes with the invading Mohawks.
