Driving Directions:

Exit 74 off I-95, North on Route 161 for 0.5 mile, turn left (south) onto Route 1 (Post Road). Go 0.5 miles, turn right onto Lower Pattagansett Road, which becomes Upper Pattagansett Road. Go 2.7 miles, turn right onto Whistletown Road by the entrance to the Yale University Outdoor Education Center. Go 0.6 miles, turn right onto the marked access road.

On The Water:

Yale University owns the entire land surrounding the lake excluding the boat launch.

The lake has a horseshoe shape - one side longer than the other. The longer section is a marshy area. There is a lot of wildlife - especially snakes.
