On The Water:

After putting in at the access point you'll paddle along this narrow and winding pond - paddle east and squeeze under the Route 165 bridge to get away from civilization.

The southeastern section lies within Pachaug State Forest.

There are small islands on the pond's far end filled with wildlife. At the far southeast end the islands merge to form a marshy area.

Back out on the main pond you can paddle to the north and under the bridge into Doanville Pond.
