Pachaug Pond

Site Location:    Burdick Lane, Griswold, Connecticut

Basic Information:

Pachaug Pond is located in the township of Griswold in New London County, approximately 10 miles northeast of the city of Norwich.

The pond is artificial in origin, being formed by the impounding of the Pachaug River. Very nice, lightly populated, quiet water paddle. The only challenge might be some wind as the lake is very long NW to SE. The ramp is on the North end and is just a short distance off the main road. Lots of parking available. There is one very densely populated beach/rental/camp area which is at the South end near Route 65.
