On The Water:

This brackish marsh contains miles of maze of waterways, with an abundance and variety of birdlife. Lord Cove is an excellent example of brackish tidal marsh. The preserve has been created thanks to the generosity of numerous donors; the entire preserve has been protected through gifts.

The northern section is reached by paddling over a large area of shallow open water.

You can also explore Deep Creek, Lord Creek, Mack Creek, and Rat Island.

Cautions: Winds blowing across open areas can be strong.
