From I-91 to Exit 47E. Turn east onto Route 190 for 5.3 miles and then turn right (South) onto School Street (Route 186 goes north from here). Access to the pond is on the left 0.3 miles down at 5.6 miles from Route 190

On The Water:

The pond is formed by the Somersville Pond Dam and surrounded by old mills. As you paddle away from the access  you'll have a great time exploring this pond. If you want you can paddle 3 miles of the Scantic River at the northern end of the pond.
