Site Location:
Basic Information: Access to the pond is through Bigelow Hollow State Park, and boats or canoes must be carried over trails to reach the water. The pond is natural in origin and receives water from several small unnamed brooks and from ground water entering through the pond bottom. The outflow from the pond is Breakneck Brook, which flows northward into the Quinebaug River system.
