Memorial Day Weekend(ish) - May 27th, 28th and 29th, 2011

Three internationally recognized "water gods" will be joining us on the local, active waters along the RI/CT border for a weekend of instruction.

You probably already know of Ben. Dave White (Alder Creek Guide who ripped it up in Pacific Horizons) and Ginni Callahan (Sea Kayak Baja founder and guide, BCU 5 Star Leader, 4 Star Coach and ACA Level 5 Open Water Instructor) both of who are renowned guides and expeditioners.

We will work on boat handling in surf, tidal streams, rock gardens and incident management. Unlike the standard symposium model, this camp will be focused on skills instruction - not hang on by your fingertips playtime.  Paddlers will be broken up into three groups based on current skill set so anyone from advanced beginners to experienced big water paddlers are welcome.  We'll be staying at a rustic, beautiful camp with lodge, cabins and food service in North Stonington, CT. Campfires, informative presentations and venue conditions briefings will be some of the dryland activities.  Rental boats and support equipment are available but limited.

Spots are limited to 24 and are already filling so consider booking soon.
