less motorboat traffic at this end of the reservoir because of aquatic
vegetation. This paddle will take you to
Stump Pond - a shallow cove at the northern end. You
will come across a large population of birds. If you want a quiet paddle plan your trip when
there aren't any races at the Thompson Speedway.
